39 weeks 2 days

I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks due to the flooding here in Queensland. We are fine where we are, we got out just in time.

So here I am, 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant. This is now officially the longest I've been pregnant! I had my DD at 37 weeks 5 days and my DS at 39 weeks exactly so we're patiently waiting for labour to start any moment :) We are so very excited to meet out baby boy, the little one who will complete our family.
I have absolutely everything prepared now, just waiting on baby :)
Today I got my fiance to take a pic of my belly, strangely I look so much smaller here ;) Black isn't all that flattering in my opinion, but it is all that 'fits' currently. I've outgrown all my maternity clothes!! We're guessing this little one will be a bit bigger than his big brother, who was 7lbs 11oz, we just arent sure just how much ;) Only time will tell...

 

I am getting a LOT of braxton hicks contractions, especially when I nurse my son but it really doesn't FEEL like it has been long enough (the pregnancy) yet. Although it has been the toughest pregnancy, it has been so, so worth it. I have a tonne more stretchmarks (my mama stripes! :)) so that my belly looks kind of purple but I'm not bothered at all, I was excited when I noticed them getting darker in the 38th week.
Bub is still posterior, he moves around a lot so I am not worried, he seems to have plenty of room ;)
I don't have the most reliable internet currently so this is going to be short. The next update will most likely be the birth announcement and story.
